Andy is a seasoned real estate leader with two decades of experience spanning development, investment, brokerage, and financial advisory. Since joining Matthews in 2023, he has been instrumental in advancing the firm’s growth across Western Canada, leading with a focus on strategic partnerships, deal-making, and community-centered development.

In his role, Andy oversees projects from acquisition through execution—integrating financial strategy with long-term value creation, risk management, and thoughtful stakeholder engagement. His work reflects a deep commitment to building vibrant, enduring communities through collaboration with a diverse range of partners.

Before joining Matthews, Andy held senior positions with a leading Vancouver-based real estate developer and one of Canada’s foremost private equity real estate funds, where he was involved in development and finance transactions across all major Canadian markets.

Andy holds an MBA in Finance from the Ivey Business School at Western University and earned his Chartered Accountant designation in 2009.

Based in the Sea-to-Sky region, he enjoys skiing, biking, and exploring the outdoors with his family—maintaining a strong connection to the communities that Matthews serves.
